I'm on an erotica kick lately. Well, if you can call the last 3 years a "kick". So when the the request came in from Sensorotika
asking I post a review of their book Erotika:Bedtime Stories I was more than happy to help. Let me say I absolutely let my fingers do some of the walking too.

Erotika:Bedtime Stories is a collection of 21 stories perfect for the bedtime hour. They are well written, short and for the most past hold your attention. If you're looking for hardcore, explicitly descriptive sex well this may not be the book for you. But if you're looking for a great couples book that you can read to each other pick this one up. The stories are realistic and what I found most appealing was the way they use real people. Real as in the women are not size 2 and the men aren't muscle bound studs hung 10 inches or more. Leaving much to the imagination the authors do describe in some detail curves, skin textures, colors and wetness. Clothing, undressing, smells and scents. It's a nice balance of words and imagination. The stories are written from both the male and female perspective and you can tell the ones that certainly have a feminine softness to them. In comparison to the testosterone prone smut I often enjoy watching or reading.

I certainly took my time and enjoyed reading the e-book off my iPhone while laying in bed or waiting in the car. Like I said it's a collection of erotica perfect for a less-than-crazy masturbation session or romantic read-along. There's little mention of fetishes and the authors barely graze the surface of more taboo sexual habits. Nothing illegal thankfully. All in all I liked it for what it was. It was sexier listening to it being read to me (the male written stories coming from a man's voice). It's an easy read with no boring intellectually stimulating topics that many think is necessary today in erotica of substance. I happen to think raunchy is still sexy and can be well done without too many 5 or more syllable words.

You can pick up a copy of Erotika:Bedtime Stories at Amazon for $12.99 or download the e-book at Diesel eBooks for half that. It would make a nice and sexy Valentine's Day gift too boys. But don't think that's all your going to get away with. There better be a huge box of chocolate with that too.
